Hailing from the Northwest, this client continually pushed Avenue One to explore using more progressive products and building techniques. Some of the features included in this house were geothermal heat, a blown-in-blanket (BIBS) insulation system, tankless hot water heaters and locally sourced cabinetry.
The original ranch house was turned into a 2 story structure with much of the second floor being “hidden” in the roofline. The idea was to keep the exterior look of the house inline with the other houses in the neighborhood and, in the end, this conversion was a collaborative effort that produced a great showcase product.
